Softball-Control Pitch is an introductory league (ages 7 – 8) with the purpose of bridging the gap between t-ball and
10U softball. For many of this league’s participants, this will their first exposure to softball. The
focus of this league is to teach fundamentals of softball fielding and batting as well as an introduction to
the mechanics of the softball fastpitch (not used in games at this level).

Cost: $85

Schedule:

• Practices start late April/Early May  (roughly 90 minute practices)
• Games start early June with the season concluding in mid-July (roughly 2 hour games)

Time Commitment: Players can expect two practices in the evenings during the month of May and two games per week
throughout July. If numbers allow, there will also be an all-star game on a Saturday in mid-June.

Each team will require roughly 3 coaches: 1 head and 2 assistants. Exposure to organized softball is
desired but a want to volunteer time and work with the kiddos is more than acceptable!
